As Winston Churchill once said, “Never take no for an answer”, it is important that you stay focused persistently until you get what you want. And where your studies and career are concerned, you should never leave any stone unturned. Keeping this philosophy in mind, the South African government introduced a fully funded aid scheme for financially unfortunate undergraduate students. Don’t worry if you don’t already know about that because I will be explaining all that in detail in the following article, as well as about the NSFAS login.

However, today’s article is more than just about giving you a brief introduction to what Nsfas is. In fact, I will be answering a more frequently asked query amongst young folks and that is how to access my Nsfas Account. It is possible that you applied for this aid and got rejected the first time but did you know that you can get access to this aid the year following your initial application? I bet you didn’t know that. So, I guess you can tell that is going to be a very helpful guide for you in the long run. Let’s begin then, shall we?
How To Access My Nsfas Account
What Is Nsfas?
Nsfas stands for National Student Financial Aid Scheme and is the first financial aid scheme introduced by the government of South Africa. The main objective of this scheme is to help economically unstable undergraduate students to help them get higher education and complete their studies. It is funded by DHET i.e., the Department Of Higher Education And Training in South Africa. It has helped many students to complete their tertiary studies to date. However, the large number of applications they receive each year is far more than what they can cater to.
Hence, a lot of these well-deserving applications go pending. However, if an application is not accepted or gets pending, the applicant may submit an appeal with the commission and check out the application status in the following year. So, this was a basic introduction to what Nsfas is and how an applicant must proceed if his or her application is not accepted right away.
